Enterprise Resource Planner Technical Consultant

Responsibilities 

  • Gathers business objectives and architects solutions in the Unit4 ERP system

  • Performs gap analysis to determine customizations  

  • Participates in the analysis, configuration, testing and deployment of a client's solution

  • Evaluates new IT strategies and procedures

  • Ensures deadlines and cost targets are met

  • Creates appropriate documentation for referencing best practices and knowledge transfer

  • Conducts application training for customers/super users

  • Troubleshoots and resolves complex customer environment problems

Qualifications & Preferred Skills 

  • Previous experience in information technology and/or ERP systems

  • Travel Industry experience and knowledge

  • Experience with Business Intelligence and Report Writing Software Tools

  • Experience with SQL Server and TSQL

  • Ability perform business analysis to determine customer reporting needs

  • Basic understanding of Software Development Process (Requirements, Write Specifications, Development, Testing, Client Training)

  • Understanding Microsoft Development Tools

  • Core financials and accounting process knowledge
